ON THE ROAD TO NOVA SCOTIA

We got off fairly early this morning, driving north towards Exeter, NH, to visit with Heidi's Aunt Free.  We stopped this evening in Milford, Connecticut, at a Red Roof Inn.

While driving Interstate highways robs one of any sense of "the real America", having GPS on board really makes travel life easier (even though that direction-giving device also adds to the possibility of even further detachment.  When talking with daughter Alissa this evening, she mused "What would you do if the GPS went out, leaving you essentially stranded somewhere out there in "the real world" without any idea where?" -- a point well taken!)

Using TripAdvisor to locate restaurant possibilities (and the GPS to get us there) also improves life-on-the-go, this evening bringing us to the Seven Seas Bar and Pub in Milford for one of the best lobster roll dinners ever!

NOTE: This evening is the first that Lee has had access to an Internet connection enabling him to upload blog entries from the last several days covering events during our days in Washington, DC.  Note as well that you can click on any of the images, then click again to obtain an enlarged version of any that you might want to examine in more detail.
